FILE 06 // CODE OF CONDUCT
Code of Conduct
The rules every employee agrees to on their first day, how the TVA deals with those who break them, and the alert levels and field rules that keep everyone on the same page.
01Code of Conduct
| Principle | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Loyalty | The Sacred Timeline comes before personal wishes. |
| Secrecy | TVA operations stay confidential. What you see in the field stays in the report. |
| Respect | Stay professional with colleagues and with variants. |
| No personal use | Never use TVA technology for your own ends. A TemPad is not a holiday. |
02Misconduct & Discipline
Internal cases are filed with the Judiciary and heard by the Tribunal (J-04). Possible outcomes:
- Reprimand — entered on the employee's record.
- Reassignment — removal from field duty or from a case.
- Detainment — held by the Minutemen until the Tribunal sits, under J-04.
- Pruning — for an employee who has become a variant in all but name.
03Alert Levels
Alert levels are set by Analysis & Monitoring and the Minutemen and shown on every TemPad. Each level adds to the one below it.
- GREEN
- Normal Operations
- The Sacred Timeline is stable. Routine sweeps continue (TM-01).
- AMBER
- Anomaly Watch
- An anomaly of severity 7 or above has been flagged (TM-02). Minutemen on standby; nonessential Time Doors suspended.
- RED
- Active Branch
- A nexus event is in progress. Minutemen deploy; all TemPad traffic is prioritised for the operation.
- ECHO-GREEN
- Facility Lockdown
- A variant is loose inside the TVA. Minutemen seal the sector (M-04); stay where you are.
- ALL CLEAR
- Stand Down
- Return to regular duties. Reports are due within 24 TVA hours.
04Field Rules
Short rules every field agent learns in training:
- Close every Time Door — behind you. Open doors attract attention, and paperwork.
- Two officers per prune — with holo-testimony recorded (M-02).
- Keep your TemPad on you — and check its charge before every jump.
- Nothing comes back but evidence — all confiscated items go to Intake.
- Report within 24 TVA hours — of returning from the field.
- If you remember a life before the TVA — report it to your supervisor. Then think very carefully about who you tell.
